| IMPORTANT MESSAGE ABOUT DOG BUYING AND
SELLING SCAMS. PLEASE READ!
Ever since
the Internet was created people have been trying to run some sort of scam
to part people from their money. With any online advertising system you
will surely find some people that are out to get you. We have taken certain
steps to try and eliminate the scam artist that try to use this site.
However, no system is fail safe and some will slip through the cracks.
Please contact us to report any suspicious messages
that you receive from this site.
Here are
some tips to identify if the individual is a scam artist or not:
1.
They mention that they are outside the USA for any reason (i.e. mission
work). DO NOT continue a conversation with anyone from this
site who says they are physically located outside of the USA. We made
this site only for US Citizens and not world wide individuals to mitigate
against this. The scam generally goes that they live in some US state,
but are in Africa on mission work or what not and need you to send the
money there. DO NOT DO IT!
2.
The phone number does not work. Most likely they are outside
of the US and do not have a phone number for you to call. If an individual
comes up with ANY REASON not to talk to you on the phone then please
do not do business with that individual.
3.
Free or seriously cheap dogs for sale. If it sounds to good
to be true it probably is. Full blooded puppies of certain breeds are
not sold for a couple hundred dollars. Always investigate prices.
4.
Poor grammar. I emphasize this because many of the scammers
I have seen have English as their second language. If an individual
won't spend the time to write correctly then why would you think they
can breed puppies correctly.
With anything you have to use common sense and good judgment. If you
have a doubt about something then move on. There are tens of thousands
of legitimate dog breeders in the US. Please investigate and find the
best one that fits your needs.
